For me, She Hopes She Helps is a testimony to the faithfulness of God and His promise that His Word never returns to Him void.

Many years ago, the Lord placed on my heart to hand out care packages with my daughter, Asia, and year after year I found myself in different situations that kept me from doing what the Lord placed on my heart; however, year after year God continued to press upon my heart about the care packages and I would get the sense that He was trying to move me toward something that was bigger than my mind could conceive and the thought of it caused some fear ... I did not know where to begin or how to begin, but I knew I needed to begin the work that the Lord called me to.

In 2018, I received a call from a close friend who wanted to share a dream that she woke up from just that morning. She began to tell me about a dream about a co-worker who wanted to give our care packages, but she was confused about how to begin. As I am listening to my friend share her dream with me, I begin to think about how very close the details of her dream to my very real situation. I never shared what the Lord placed on my heart with anyone, so there was no way she could have known. As she finishes telling me the dream, she said, "I am sharing this dream with you because the Lord told me it's not about my co-worker, it's about you, and He said that I have to help you. He said you don't have to start big, you just have to start!"

I went on tell her the story about God pressing upon my heart to hand out the care package and how year after year there was something that stopped me and then finally, I got fearful about the plan of God that was bigger than my mind could conceive. After this conversation, together we purchased enough products to fill 12 bags, and that was the conception of what would a year later be called ... SHE HOPES SHE HELPS!
